Ballet Portraits With Nottingham Portrait Photographer

For these creative Ballet portraits I was at Bramcote park with Ballet dancer Jessica, I took with me as always my Elinchrom ELB1200 a 70x70 Rotalux soft box and of course my 35x100 Rotalux stripbox with a grid attached.

I love being a creative Nottingham portrait photographer and its alway especially fun when your working with someone as creative as Jessica, we walked all our gear up the hill and soon found an opening where the sun was backlighting Jessica through the trees.

Working with the Elinchrom ELB1200 power was never going to be an issue and using the HS capabilities of the ELB pack I was also able to capture images at shutter speeds over 1/1000th of a second with ease !

The higher the shutter speed your using the more power you need and this also allows me to create portraits at apertures of f/2.2.
